15+ years of work experience

I am a proactive go-getter and eager to learn professional. In my career I have worked at both an operational and strategic level and therefore I have a lot of experience in building, optimizing and revising corporate policies and tailoring them to the needs of the company. I have a proactive attitude and have experience in leading and participating in various HR projects in many different areas such as compensation & benefits, development management and employee engagement.

I started my working career as a Management Assistant where I acted as the right-hand man to several managers, directors and members of the board of directors. I also fulfilled this position on an interim basis for a long time, which meant that I had to quickly familiarize myself with the new environment and I had to offer support in various issues that were different for each client.

During my work as a Management Assistant for an Employment Lawyer, my interest in HR was aroused. This has resulted in a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management in addition to my work. I successfully completed this study with a thesis on Employee Engagement & Enablement.
Both of these career paths mean that I work very well organized and enjoy working with data, analyzes and figures. I keep remembering that we work with people and not numbers. Every decision made within the company has an (in)direct impact on the employees and the way in which this is communicated by the organization influences their cooperation and/or motivation. It is HR's responsibility to advise how these issues should be addressed in order to maximize the potential of the employees and promote entrepreneurship among the employees. This will help the organization to keep them motivated and will be an important part of organizational development.
